Please check out the rest of my blog! If you are interested
on up to date reviews on even the newest video games, then my blog is for you.
I aim to please on all your gaming needs. I try to make sure I hit every genre
and try not to leave anything out. Although I do not play that many PC games, I
still manage to keep you updated on even genres like that. I try to give you my
in-depth analysis on the video games I have played and try to be as honest as
possible. I am not trying to win you over and make you play all these video
games, because I can be downright brutal on some titles, but that does not mean
you should not still try it on your own. We all have our own opinions, and I
try to keep it as real as possible and tell you about the real issues and the
real annoyances with certain games that always drive me crazy. I have played
every game system and am very credible and know what I am talking about because
I have been an avid gamer for so long. I also try to keep it light, and try to
be comical, we like to play for competition, but the main goal is for us to
have fun and I want my fans to have the same feelings I get when I play. I want
you to be able to have that feeling of nostalgia down the road, no feeling is
greater.

Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Review)
A
new game, which is the latest chapter in one of the most sacred franchises in
gaming history. It is the undisputed crown jewel in the launch of the Nintendo
Switch. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a masterpiece that reinvents
a 30-year-old franchise and is a truly jaw dropping game with such an open
world. I have had so many adventures in Breath of the Wild, and each one has a
unique story behind what led me to them, making them stories on top of stories.
And even after I have spent more than 50 hours searching the far reaches of Hyrule,
I am still able to come across things I have not come across before. I will
easily spend over 100 more hours trying to track down and explore all it has to
offer. I guess, in the end, it is not just that Breath of the Wild signals that
the series has finally evolved and moved past the structure it has stayed with
for such a long time. It is that the development in question and Nintendo is finally
treating their fan base like intelligent people. That newfound prestige has led
to something so great, and special, and mind-blowing. But in such a big open
world full of drastic changes, Breath of the Wild also almost always feels like
a Zelda game and establishes itself as the game to be reckoned with. This game
is something we have not seen from Zelda in almost two decades.

Link Post
NathanVsVideogames posted previously on his favorite video
games played in 2012. He named a lot of good titles, some of which I enjoyed,
but there are some he did not mention that are some of my favorites. 2012 was a
good year for video games.
Assassin’s Creed III
The Assassin’s Creed series already had such a good name and
I had not played it until this game. I loved every minute of it. This game
takes you to another world where you get to relive memories of your ancestors
and fight against the Templars. This has one of the best storylines in a game I
have ever played. There is so much you can do in this game like explore, have
wars on ships, and buy weapons from arms dealers. There is so much
customization with your character that you really get to feel like you are in
the American Civil War where the game takes place. The fighting is one of the coolest
aspects of the game, along with the amount of kill combos they give you. You get
to help the world and stop the redcoats, but also “assassinate” at free will
and escape from the law and look awesome while doing it, with all the parkour
the game has to offer.
Halo 4
Halo will always go down as one of my most favorite titles
to play. Halo 3 will always be the best of them, but that doesn’t mean Halo 4
was bad. This game brought everything from the previous games with stellar multiplayer
gameplay. Halo provided us with a new story for our beloved hero, Master Chief,
and we got to pick up where he left off floating throughout space. It was one
of the stranger storylines in the franchise, but it did its job in making me
love Master Chief that much more. We got to see old things, with a twist of new
things spun off from Halo Reach. There were also some new game types that they
created, which always keeps you staying up past midnight to own noobs.
Call of Duty Black Ops II
Another big game I spent hundreds of hours playing. This
game was the reason I procrastinated a lot of homework assignments in high
school and the reason I was always tired there too. Black Ops I was one of my
favorite Call of Duty’s and this was such a worthy. It brought me all the great
visuals that the first one had, with new kill streaks, maps, and guns. Let’s
not forget when they brought back Nuketown, everyone’s favorite map. This game
had it all and it had one of the best zombie experiences, where they added the
first moving map with the bus.

5 Video Games You Should Die Before You Play
5.) NBA 2K17 (2017)
Why: The game is a standard basketball game, which is something
we have all seen before. There is nothing about it that makes it stand out from
other basketball games. They added way too much attention to detail where the loading
screens become so long that you lose interest in playing. They have too many
cut scenes where you go to the barbershop or hang out with your friends and it goes
away from the actual main idea, which is playing basketball. You will honestly
probably die before the game even loads.
4.) Call of Duty: Advanced
Warfare (2014)
Why: This game is a total waste of money. I cannot believe a
franchise that I cherished as much as Call of Duty could make such garbage. When
we were all kids we dreamed of having an advanced call of duty, but they did it
all wrong. The jumping mechanism in the game leaves every player jumping every
other second, where you almost have a seizure trying to shoot someone and put your
sights on them. The zombie game type was nothing like the old zombies in the
game and makes me think they ran out of ideas with the franchise. Call of Duty
continues to go into a bad direction with their games, but this was the start
of the decline.
3.) Monopoly (PC) (1999)
Why: Monopoly has always been a great family game to play.
But you know what? Monopoly should never be a video game! I mean depending on
how stupid some of your friends and family are, there is at least some
satisfaction you get when you take their assets, but there is no fun in taking
money from a bot. The bots are very dumb too and you can cheat them very easily
and have them make irrational decisions.
2.) Sonic the Hedgehog (2006)
Why: Sonic 2006 turned out to be a trend in the terrible
monster the franchise had become. The game lacks in so many areas: it has a
terribly jumpy camera, lousy collision, and an uninspired story. Those are
three things that Triple-A titles should avoid at all costs. The real culprit
here, though, is the fact that Sonic just is not fun and has not been fun
since, the sequel to the game in the 90’s. If playing Sonic titles from the
past ten years or so doesn’t convince you, playing only an hour of Sonic 2006
will be more than enough reason to be suspicious of the character in the future.
1.) Dragonball: Evolution
Why: Now this one stings a little bit, considering if you
saw my recent post about how much I loved the most recent Dragonball game. I
have always loved the Dragonball series and Dragonball Evolution tried to mix
the live-action Dragonball movie with the established gameplay of the Budokai
series. The fighting aspect was not good at all, considering it took everything
that made the Budokai games great and made it a clone of its former self. And
the story mode is conveyed through static images of the actors in front of tasteless
backgrounds. Everyone knew a live-action Dragonball title would never do well,
so why a companion video game was made is a very good question that we will
never know.
