I recently discovered another blog that was similar to mine in the fact that it is all about gaming and all types of video games. It spanned throughout all first-generation system all the way to seventh-generation systems. This blog is Super Adventures in Gaming. The blog is as much about information as it is colorful. It paints a nice picture of the whole game it gives reviews on. The blog posts about once a week, and that might not seem like a lot, but these posts are very lengthy. The reviews go so in depth in the game, you feel like you are watching someone play it on YouTube because there are so many pictures of the actual gameplay. The site itself is so clean and pretty. The right side of the website has everything so neatly put together where you can easily find a post about a specific video game you are looking forward to reading. It has a nice search box for what game you want to look at, along with a section called, “This weeks most viewed” which is a great way that is helping them promote their own blog posts. There is another section which displays genres of games, so all around this blog makes it easy to find certain posts. This blog also has a link to its other site, which is just great marketing and promotion to the other work they do. I definitely learned some things from this blog and it has shown me my own blog has room for improvement.
